Richard Dale Witherspoon

Richard (Rick) Dale Witherspoon was born in Dallas, Texas on October 8, 1973 to James David Witherspoon and Anita Pate. He was called home to Heaven on July 24, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father and his sister, Katrina Franks. Rick was a very social and outgoing person. He loved to be with family and friends. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle “Nadine”. Rick loved country music and attending concerts. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, family barbeques and staying active and involved in the community. He was a master carpenter and volunteered his talents, skills and time back to the community he loved, as often as he could. Rick was also a proud Rider member of Dallas Chapter AMVETS Post 23, where he served as 2nd Vice President. Left with cherished memories is his loving and devoted wife of 25 years Sabrina, children: Vanessa, Brendon, and Garrett, grandson Ian. He is also survived by children: Zakary, Aubree, Kelsey and Madison; mother Anita Steck and husband Stek; brothers David Witherspoon, Mark Witherspoon, Steven Witherspoon and Robert Witherspoon; numerous other family loved ones and many, many beloved friends.
