Mrs. Rita Longoria

Rita V. Longoria was born in Edcouch, Texas on May 22, 1938 to Benigno Villarreal and Consuelo Luna. Rita met the Lord face to face on November 5, 2014. Predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of over 45 years, Bartolo Longoria and her sister Sylvia Villarreal. Left with loving memories to cherish are her son Fernando Longoria & wife Rosemary, son Ramiro Longoria & wife Dolores, daughter Maria Sirkle & husband Ken, son David Longoria & wife Janie, son Santiago Longoria & wife Sally, son Bartolo Longoria Jr. & wife Anna, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, 4 sisters and a host of nieces, nephews and other family loved ones and beloved friends. Rita had a love for flowers and enjoyed growing them in her garden. She also enjoyed singing in her church where she was a praise and worship leader. She lived for her Lord and her family. Her children and grandchildren were very special to her and everything she did was “All for Love”. She enjoyed cooking for her family on holidays and get-togethers. It is well known that Rita made a “MEAN TORTILLA”. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Friday November 7, 2014 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. A celebration of Rita’s life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday November 8, 2014 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Seagoville, Texas.
