Bill Lawson and I were remembering Sam today. We miss his wonderful personality!

I miss Sam so much. I love the way he drew his thoughts and messages on a napkin.
Bill Lawson, Sam, Buddy, and I shared many stories at McDonald's over a cup of coffee. 
He was a great man. 

Sam was such a sweetheart. We met three years ago at McDonald's when he invited me to join him and his good friend Bill for coffee. We all quickly became friends. My name is Yuelaunda but Sam called me Yoli. My mother's nickname for him was Little Dumplin. He was always smiling and full of stories to delight and entertain. I love the way he would often use a napkin to illustrate his point.  One year later my mother and I still mourn him and speak of him often. We miss you Sam. Rest in peace.

Mr. Trevino was a very kind, sweet person. He always had a smile on his face . I  looked forward to seeing him in the office on his visits.  I enjoyed hearing his stories and he still is missed.  I am glad I came across this today and could share with the family. 

Santos and Amy, it makes me sad to hear this. I thought a lot of him. He was so nice when he came into the clinic. He has always had a special place in my heart. I always enjoyed talking with him. May God bless you during this time

Uncle Santos was my Welos brother. My welo Robert was laid to rest 5 years ago. It breaks my heart knowing that they arent around and we won’t have their funny personalities to look forward too. Uncle Santos was a person everyone wanted to be around, always smiling and telling funny stories. It comforted me knowing he was around after losing my welo. They we’re so much alike!

Mr . Trevino lived near to my aunt Lola Sanchez in kleberg  tx . I have know his brother Robert Trevino in the past which is my moms cousins . I meet his kids when I was young . My dad and I would stop at his house to say hi . Santos would give you anything you need food water a buck , that how I remember him always smiling with a twinkle in his eyes . Rip .

Back in day there in ferris,Tx and grandfather 
Lolo Salas was Santos uncle (Tio) so later Lilly
and Santos  married  and start having a familia  that
Was Santos jr , Ramiro ( I miss you cuz) and Ricky and finally that little Girl Gloria and then
My father and mother (Esperanza) also married 
Lilly went out of ferris,tx  for the better of Gloria ( not to married one of cousins by chance) so later went to town of Kleberg, Tx and my family live in same town. So 2 family were close and live in kleberg and we all went
To kleberg school and Seagoville high together 
Ricky & Mario were the same age. My mother 
Would take Lilly to her doctor appointment 
And Santos was working. Gloria and me were
One year apart in age her 1963 and me in 1964
We were close like my father & mother and there parents and living in Kleberg,Tx we all played together at school and at there house
And on the street in kleberg. Santos always put
His family 1stand Lilly was his HONEY! I remember they always said that to each other and he had respect for her. And loved his baby Girl
GLORIA!! And whenever he seen me he would 
Say  Felicia! In a loud patch of his voice and later I had my child named Nadia and was always us at McDonald's or DQ on beltline Rd
Sometimes Nadia would see him there and talk 
With him because we still live in same town of
Kleberg, tx my heart will always miss him and
I loved listening to his life stories. The world lost
A great man. He had courage and strength and
A real good business man I know that because 
I would spend the night with Gloria at there house . Santos Sr had a great attitude about
Life and I loved all his Stories so I can type 3
Pages long  he was also close with tio Roy Salas 
In ferris,tx my tio Roy would grill out and Santos would stop by or they would take road trips to
AZ to see the family  and of course he talk and
Keeping them a wake. Rest in peace and we will
miss y always Felicia And Nadia Rodriguez ❤❤



Dad-
There are not enough words to even tell you how much I will miss you and our weekly dates. You were always there for us when we needed you and you never let us down. We were so blessed that you were around to see three generations.

I was truly a daddy’s girl, never hearing the word no. Except when it came time for dating. : ) 

He was truly a social butterfly. Lived life to the fullest and never wasted one minute of life.  Loved to talk to anyone who would give an ear. He would give you his last dime or the shirt off his back.

You will be missed by so many that respected you and loved you and that void will never be filled.   You are finally reunited with the love of life!

So many great memories and stories that Santos Would share with me as a kid. I remember when I was little he said jojo I want to build a retaining wall, and he talked me into mixing the concrete for the wall. And when it was all said and done we went to Dairy Queen to eat. I will miss sitting under the big tree between his house and the little house Listening to him talk. Now him and Lilly  are together again.  You will be missed Santos.

Condolences to all the Trevino family from Gilbert Jr. and Olga Gonzalez.   We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that our prayers are with you all.  May he Rest In Peace. 

My Grandad Santos Trevino Sr. was a great man, a proud man, and I am very proud and grateful to carry his last name. My love, respect and admiration for him will always be in my heart. He was a family man. He loved his wife with all his heart and soul. He told me the story of how they met and how when he asked her to marry him. How he raised his kids and started his own business. He taught me many things and gave me much advice. He and I were  much alike in different ways. His good deeds, honesty and work ethic have made him many friends and well known in the community. He will be greatly missed by everyone. I will always cherish his memory and keep him in my heart.  

Sam was an amazing man and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. 

For years, every Wednesday the Trevino family sat around the small kitchen table at ny grandparents, listening to Nonnie lead the conversations over dinner. I can remember the sights, smells, and sounds vividly. The loud voices in Spanish and the occasional times the adults would speak in English, so us kids could join in.  I remember sitting there as a little girl, eating my special chicken, looking back and forth to everyone, pretending I was a part of the conversation. As time went on and us grandkids grew up, grew families of our own, we would still eat, then give away our seat to the next person. It was Nonnie who stayed longest at the table. He'd sit there until he talked to each of us and would often hand off dollars with his little scribble to the youngest kids at the time. If I was lucky, and no one was around, sometimes he'd still slip me a twenty with a wink.

Even when our Wednesdays tradition got harder to maintain, he would still make his rounds to everyone to tell us stories and give the little ones gifts. But, it did not matter where he was,  or who he was with, his spirit was the brightest in the room. He never slowed down. 

I'm so grateful that my children, Lola & Greyson got to know him and be a part of those dinners too. We loved him so much.

I'll miss his lively voice, the side wink, and hearing, "VICTORIA!! Hey baby!" Maybe he just needed a bigger table in the sky. I know my grandma and uncle are right beside him. Save the rest of us a seat! 

Sam was a awesome soul, we will truly miss his smile I have know Sam & his whole family all my life. They watched us when me & my siblings were young. & stayed contact for years. He will truly be missed. Love & prayers for the whole family  my condolences to the whole family. Rachel & Freddie Gonzalez and  Family.

I have so many amazing memories of Nonie! 
I thank him for making my childhood so happy and for being the best grandfather! He was so giving and thoughtful. He made us laugh so much. He had so much energy all the way to the end. He was a great man. 
My favorite memories of him was of us in his garden and how he would teach me about all his vegetables and when he would always always take us to McDonald's and Dairy Queen. 
I feel blessed that my son's Isaiah and Isaac got to know him as well for as long as they did. 
I know Nonie loved us very much and we love him! I'm going to miss him very much! 
I love you Nonie
