William ("Bill") E. Cagle, 73, of Crandall, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on October 25, 2014. He was born in Longview, Texas on July 30, 1941 to the late Richard and Edna (Felts) Cagle.
Bill grew up in Kilgore, Texas where he met and married the love of his life 52 years ago, Ann Burns. Bill is survived by his wife Ann, a daughter Jana Egeler (Buddy) of Mesquite, TX, two sons, James Cagle (Tina) of Nevada, TX, and Greg Cagle (Danielle) of McKinney, TX, eight beautiful grandchildren and two lively great-grandsons. Bill is also survived by his sister, Laretta Bigham (Joe) of Versailles, MO and two brothers, Larry Cagle (Jean) and Dicky Cagle, both of Luxora, AR and numerous extended family members.
Bill retired from a long career traveling the world as an offshore rig mechanic with Atwood Oceanics in 2008. Following retirement he mostly enjoyed puttering around his yard, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.
