Henry was born in Spain, but raised most of his childhood/adulthood life in the Philippines where he studied and earned a degree in Journalism, taught as a professor at the University of Santo Tomas while day trading as a stock trader in Manila. As he migrated to the United States with his family relocating to Seaside where his brother and mother resided, Henry pursued his profession as a paralegal in San Francisco while living in the Monterey Peninsula, running a small business he owned with his wife and served as a Spanish interpreter in the court of law.
Henry lived a long beautiful life with his everlasting love Lydia of over 60 years who he adored ever so deeply. Blessed with a large family of 16 children, over 40 grandchildren and a handful of great grandchildren, family was everything for Henry and Lydia. He enjoyed picnics at the beach, family gatherings, regular trips to the casino, ongoing dates with his wife, thrifting, fine chocolates and steakhouses.
Known for his caring, kind, patient, generous, intelligent, charming and resilient soul, Henry will forever be remembered as an incredible, highly respected loving husband, father and grandfather. Henry will be missed dearly!
