Dearest Inez,
  I know you're watching over us.  Please help take care of my Sonny, and give him a hug for me in heaven.  He always thought the world of you, and whenever we came down and passed your house on our way to our Family home, he would say, "When are we going to see Inez?!" We always think of you, Dallas, Linda, Glen, and all your family as our family, too.  Miss you so much, but your spirit is ever present.

Mrs. Clayton made my world a sweeter, better place and I am grateful she was a part of my life.

 Its always difficult to say goodbye to those so very special in your life.
Mrs. Clayton, and more affectionately,"Nez",as we often addressed
her, brought such joy and happiness whenever we were in her presence. As dear friends of our parents, we grew up with she and her dear husband Dallas, as very special people in our lives. Though growing up took us kids to different parts of the State and country, a visit home was never complete without seeing Nez-those visits will be missed.
Linda, Glenn, and extended family, please accept not only our heartfelt condolences, but our sincere love and support through this difficult time.  Your Mom (and Dad) are precious in our hearts, and will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Clayton Family,

  We love you, are praying for all of you, and just wish we could be there for the Rosary and Ceremony with you.  Our friendship all these years have meant so much to all our family--you are an extension of our family. It's hard to count all our relatives who have felt so close to your Mom and Dad.  I think it must be a "Louisiana" thing---and isn't that wonderful ?! Sonny just adored 'Nez---and each time we drove down...before I could even say "We're going to stop at 'Nez's and say "hello"---he would ask "Can we stop at Mrs. Clayton's?"  He just loved her---as we all did, so much !

Linda, Glen, and family…please know how very sorry we are for the passing of your Mom, Inez. She and Dallas were such wonderful people and such good & close friends to our family.  The last time that Sandra and I saw Inez was in her home…such a fun visit, and it brought back so many wonderful memories.   We know she is together with Dallas, and both are looking down, smiling.  Our heartfelt condolences to you all.
