Jesse L. Daniels

Jesse was born and raised in Battleboro, North Carolina to Lee and Annie Daniels. After graduating from Phillips High School, he joined the US Air Force, where he served for 4 years. He spent a few years in Washington DC, then enlisted in the US Army, serving for another 20 plus years (Vietnam Combat Veteran). Jesse was a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he retired from the Army, earned a bachelor’s of Science degree, and worked in the federal service at the Air Force Academy as a computer programmer. Upon retirement, he remained in Colorado Springs until 2018, when he moved to Seaside, California to live with his daughter and her family.

Jesse is preceded in death by his daughter, Sonya; brothers, Eddie, George, and Ray; sisters Elizabeth and Reba. He is survived by his daughter, Shenae Daniels Morrow and son-in-law, Dewayne Morrow; granddaughter, Sydney Morrow; grandson, Darien Morrow; brother, Willie Daniels (June); and numerous adoring nieces and nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Jesse is also survived by his former wife, the mother of his two children, Elnora Daniels.

Jesse will be memorialized and interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia in late Spring. No memorial services are planned in Seaside or Colorado Springs.
