

Obituary
Manuel Tamayo Padilla was born August 31, 1922 in Cosalá, Sinaloa, México and died peacefully on December 19, 2016 in Yuba City, CA. Manuel lived in Mexicali, Baja, CA and worked in the Imperial Valley in the 1960’s-1970’s. He also lived and worked in Blythe, CA from 1970-1976. He arrived in Salinas in 1976 where he also worked and retired. He spent the last ten years of his life in Yuba City, CA.
Manuel is survived by his wife of 64 years Enriqueta Tamayo; children, Carmen Orduño (Francisco); Jose Manuel Tamayo; Guillermo Tamayo; Jesus Tamayo (Rosa); Javier Tamayo (Belen); Concepcion Gonzalez (Leandro); Jose Antonio Tamayo (Lupe); Alma Orduño (Hector); Israel Tamayo (Carol); 25 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Javier Tamayo and Concepcion Padilla; his son Jose Manuel Tamayo, His paternal grandparents Justo and Felipa Tamayo; His maternal grandparents Segundo and Librada Padilla.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a Rosary Vigil to take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at Bayside Community Mortuary, 1610 Noche Buena Street, Seaside, CA 93955
Funeral Mass will be held at 10a.m. , at St. Mary’s of the Nativity Church, 424 Towt Street, Salinas, CA 93905, on Friday, December 30, 2016.
Burial to follow services at Garden of Memories Memorial Park Cemetery, 768 Abbott Street, Salinas, CA 93901
