Agnes I. Anderson Lee, age 96, passed away June 25, 2017, at Wesley Homes Health Center in Des Moines, Washington. Agnes was born January 15,1921, to Franz (Frank) Anderson and Signe Hollberg Anderson in St. Paul, Minnesota. Agnes lived a remarkable life serving as a WAVE during WWII, moving to Seattle in 1950, working two and a half years civil service for the Army in Japan, returning to Seattle and retiring after 35 years from General Electric.
Agnes is survived by Mary Louise Glaser and husband Joe, granddaughters Katie Louise, Adelyn, and Emily Glaser all of Tacoma; and two cousins in New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Walter, and husband Ira Lee, Jr. Agnes was a devout Methodist and a good and faithful servant. She loved God and her fellow man.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. in the Evergreen Room at Wesley Homes Health Center, 1122 S 216th St., Des Moines, WA 98198.
