Good friends like Andy are far and few between and impossible to replace. I'll never visit any of the many fishing holes we fished without memories of Andy, laughing, pole in one hand coffee in the other, anxiously waiting for the next bite.  Many times I've been mad at Andy when he'd launch the boat then spend the next 2 hours standing on the dock talking to every stranger that came by. Every outing was a social event for Andy. Always eager to make a new friend, gather a little local fishing knowledge and share some of his own.  
 It ended too soon buddy. I hope your enjoying flat water, warm weather, no bag limits and huge fish. 
 I'll miss you my friend.

I knew Andy from his early days at Plant II.  He used to kid me that I was the one who layed him off in the slow down of the early 80's.  I had the privilege of working again with Andy at Kent for my last 5 years at Boeing, until my retirement in 2001.  
  I liked Andy, and from me that is the highest tribute I can give any person.

We asked you to slow down,just a little but you wouldn't, you were too much of a people person. We worked together a short time and we shared a secret that you have taken to the grave with you,all I can say is thank you for all that you have done for me. May you win that next boat race and be free of pain. I will miss you buddy.

In the many years Carole and I have known Andy, we have done many things together. His gruff exterior is only a bluff, but the true Andy had a heart as big as all out doors and would give you the shirt off his back if you were in real need. Carole an I both have lost a good friend. He is now at peace with God.

Andy and I became good buddies when he joined the van pool. From that day on we became good friends. He was called the "chatter box" in the van. He was always so cheerful and positive. He would do anything for anyone. We got the same kind of pellet barbecue and would compare our cooking try outs almost daily. Andy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Andy, your spirit will always be with us in the van pool.

I worked with Andy in Kent on second shift , It was a blast . He is so funny ,  especially when he was fired up and pissed off about something . On Aug 15th Kevin and I called Everett Dispatch and told them that it was his 50th birthday , that was good stuff . I think alot of people are going to miss him .

Andy,
God saw you getting tired

Among the many qualities that I admired about Andy were his exceptional mechanical skills and talent, along with his strong, even fierce, work ethic. I remember a mutual friend once saying, "That Andy, he can fix anything!" One of the last conversations that I had with Andy was when he told me about being in treatment for the cancer, then proudly adding that he had not missed a single day of work. Andy was an intense, passionate, and enthusiastic guy who had many interests and a zest for life. My own little vision of him in the Great Beyond is twofold. I imagine him fishing alongside his beloved friend, Bob, who passed away several years ago. And perhaps Andy will have his own shop again, fixing the wings of angels so they can keep flying high. Godspeed ACE.

I only knew Andy since 1995 when i worked at the Kent arrow space site for Boeing. I later met him when we both were transferd to the Everett site. I found out about Andy's death from old co-workers in Auburn Boeing where i work now. I am deeply saddend by Andy passing. He was a good friend and a great guy. He will be missed very much. I worked with Andy at plant II but I really got to know him when we both worked in Kent in the late ninties. Andy was a good mechanic, a good fisherman, But most of all he was a really good talker...to everyone...on his way to where-ever he was going. If I know Andy he's probably holding up the line talking to St Peter at the Gate. Andy had a good heart and was always there to help someone who needed it. He left us too soon and our world is diminished because of that. We will miss you my friend!

We first met Andy when he asked us to help him with an Estate sale.  When you met Andy you couldn't help but become a friend.  What a lively and full of life man. There will never be another Andy.  After we moved to Gig Harbor we did so miss the Sunday morning breakfasts at the casino.  Our deepest sympathy, George, in the loss of your best friend.

It was a real pleasure knowing Andy; He was always willing to share with us. He liked to eat breakfast out and we enjoyed his company. We will miss his regular phone calls.

I have known Andy for years,he was always ready to go out of his way to help all.He was like one of the family to us.May God be with you Andy,and take good care of you. GOD BLESS

Andy was our neighbor ever since he moved into his Lynnwood house. He was a fixture in the neighborhood known for his kindness and generousity. He was always ready to help others. We have fond memories of Andy, a true friend. We will miss him.
