Arlene Evans

Arlene Evans, passed away November 19, 2000. She was born December 15, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the union of Leonard Beach and Odelia Dixon. Arlene attended Douglas High School in Oklahoma City. She moved to Seattle, Washington in 1952 after meeting and marrying John Rogers. From this marriage three children were born Sharon, Pamela, and Stephen Rogers all of

Seattle, Washington. In 1967 Arlene married James Evans and united with his children Dennis

Evans, Valorie Dade, Ghitanna Johnson and Ladonna Williams. Arlene retired from Boeing as an EDP Analyst with 37 years of service. After retirement she volunteered at Central Area Service Center. Arlene was known for her open and honest personality. Arlene is proceeded in death by her mother and father, husband James Evans, sister Zenobia Stubbs Lewis of Oklahoma and Brother Jack Evans of California. She is survived by all her children and stepchildren along with 45 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will begin Thursday, November 23, from 9am to 9pm, and will continue to the time of service. Graveside services will be Friday, November 24, 2000 at 1pm and will be conduced at Evergreen Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend may meet at the Funeral
