Audrey Bascomb Carter

In loving memory of Audrey, born December 7, 1934 in Tuskegee, Alabama, to the union of Frank and Flora Bascomb. Graduate of Garfield High School in 1951. She was employed and retired from Pacific Northwest Bell after thirty-five years serving as manaager for most of those years. She later was employed and retired for a second time from Boeing after ten years of service. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for over forty-five years. She will be greatly missed. Audrey went home to be with the Lord on 9-17-2004. She was preceded in death by her grandson Delano Green, brother Erdman Bascomb, and father Frank Bascomb. She leaves to celebrate her life one daughter Brenda Green, two grandchildren Demeka and De Andre' Green, two great grandchildren Alexis and Sayvion Johnson, twelve bothers and sisters Wesberry Bascom, Camelia Bascomb, Deanna Franklin, Winifred Allen, Frank Bascomb, Jr., Gordy Bascomb, Cleo Williams, Cynthia Bascomb-Jones, Paul Bascomb, Wayne Bascomb, Stanley Bascomb, and Angela Bascomb, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Public viewing hours 8 AM to 8 PM Friday, September 24 with funeral services at 11:45 AM Saturday both at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 111th & Aurora Avenue North, Seattle. Reception will follow the service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2116 East Union, Seattle.
