Born February 18, 1945 in Chicago, IL; died on June 10, 2023 in Everett WA, at age 78.
Survived by a daughter, Tanya King; sons, Roddrick and Anthony King, 7 grandkids and was "mom" and "grandma" to everyone else she met.
Barbara lived her life assuming the best about everyone. She married the love of her life Fred King and raised 3 kids together. Barbara was a domestic engineer for many years and ended her career as a supervisor for Verizon.
Barbara loved life and accepted people from all walks of life into her heart and her home.
An Inurnment Service for close family and friends will be held Saturday, August 19,11:00AM in the Washelli Columbarium 11220 Aurora Ave N. Seattle 98133, followed by a "Barbara King style BBQ" at 1pm open to anyone that wants to stop by or stay for a while and connect remembering everyone's favorite mom!:
