Bernie Johnson

Bernard (Bernie) K. Johnson; Bernie was born on May 25, 1923 in Cornell, Wisconsin to John and Rose Johnson. Bernie passed away peacefully on January 21, 2012 with his loving family by his side. Bernie was the oldest of 10 children. He moved west and met Vera McGill and enjoyed 50 loving years of marriage until Vera's death in 1994. Together they had 5 children, Patricia Shining (Steve), Lloyd Johnson, Laura Campos (Nelson), Mary Noland (Don) and Margaret Gudmestad. Preceded in death by his wife Vera, his parents John and Rose, sister's Deanie, Rosemary and brother Raymond and daughter-in-law Carol. Bernie is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be at Yarington's White Center Funeral Home, 10708 16th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98146 on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to Highline Medical Center and the ALS Support Services of Washington
