Betty Lorriane Eggleston born January 4, 1929 to Thelma and Benjamin Worden. Passed away surrounded in love December 27,2013. Mother was a true servant to all. Not just in the restaurant industry from the time she was 14 years old, but through out her life.
She provided for all of us and never complained. She saw to it that we all had what we needed, not always what we wanted but what we needed. All the while reminding us to be kind.
She taught us early on to care for those that cannot care for them selves. Feed the animals, feed the babies, feed the elderly feed the sick feed the workers, after everyone else was served then she served her self.
No one was ever turned away from her door.
She served the VFW and countless hours making sure that they had gifts for the holidays for those in the hospital.
Old customers that had no one, she saw to it that they had a little something for their birthday.
She read like crazy 30 or more books a month mostly westerns. Her 200 hundred paper backs that she has saved are now donated to the Federal Way Library.
Her personal belongings she wanted give to the Federal Way women's shelter.
She served her community to the very end.
She was met at heavens door by her husband Wilfred BILL Eggleston Sr. her son Milo Eggleston and parents Thelma and Milo Walker.
