Beverly was such a lovely woman who I was fortunate enough to know and to care for. Always kind and thoughtful. A true pleasure at every visit. I feel that her trust in me was a gift. She was so appreciative of the people in her life, often talking about her children. I loved how she would take a picture  of a beautiful meal she had prepared for herself, artfully arranged on her plate, and show me in clinic that she was eating well and taking care of herself. She took such pleasure in the small everyday things in life. 
I miss Beverly and count myself lucky that she passed my way in this life.

Remembering this beautiful soul….. such warmth and grace, strong yet humble. A big  heart with so much room for others, a mother who loved her children deeply. I so enjoyed your wry sense of humor, the pictures of the meals you had prepared for yourself  that you showed me in clinic, the enjoyment that you derived from all the little things that make life rich, your patience and kindness. I miss you Beverly ❤️

I have become aware that each of us knows a person from a unique perspective and it is the individual's choice as to what they share of themselves with us.  I had the privilege to know Beverly as a cherished patient for nearly 20 yrs.  She shared her wit and laughter, her heartaches and concerns, her hopes and fears, and her never-ending patience and graciousness.  Together we tackled her complex medical issues, and through it all I came to understand this beautiful woman with an unflappable sense of calm and serenity.

Beverly's generous spirit came through in many ways.  I remember once confiding in her that I was getting tired of introducing myself as " Hi, I'm Rachel Cubert.  Sorry for keeping you waiting", as I typically ran significantly behind schedule in clinic while trying to give my patients the time they needed.  Her response to me was, "Just change your name then"!!!  Beverly was also remarkable in that she always remember my sons' birthdays, stopping by clinic or leaving a message of good wishes.

Beverly seemed to blossom in retirement.  She would come into my office excited about the redecorating  she was doing in her home, talking about the delicious meals she was cooking, and even showing me photos of her artfully arranged plates of healthy and delicious-appearing food as she maintained her kidney diet restrictions with zest!

She often spoke to me of her children and her grandchildren and it was clear that she valued relationship above all.  I was lucky enough to also have Angela as my patient and I admired the selfless and mutually protective love that they shared.

Over the past 2 yrs since I retired from medicine, I have often thought about Beverly, wondering how she was doing, knowing that she had some serious health issues.  I was saddened to hear of her passing and of the pain that she suffered. I am comforted to know that she is no longer in pain.  Beverly lives on in the hearts of those of us who were privileged to know and love her.

35 years Bev & I shared moments of fun ,hardships  ,advice , careers  & lives  challenges in general but most of all we shared  a silent love & respect of unconditional friendship that sustained 35 years of challenges  She was my mentor & so many times lifted me through  my darkest times  with her kind & wise words.   I have no words for the void I feel  without her..

I knew Beverly from Bingo-When I walked in she always had a beautiful smile! We always had great talks and lots of laughs! She was a very loving lady  -always helping others! I will miss her! Prayers to all of her family-<3

I'm so sorry to her about Ms Bev -- how devastating. I can't imagine how it feels for her family and I hope they feel surrounded by much love.

Ms Bev was my friend. She was sweet, unbelievably kind, and had such a sharp, quick sense of humor. I will miss her so much.
