26 May 1960 - 22 June 2012,
Born, Boise, Idaho; raised Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, Coeur d'Alene.
Graduated CDA Senior High, '77, valedictorian; BS (Biology), BS (Chemistry) 1982, Boise State U;
MS Molecular Embriology, Texas A&M, 1987. Cari pursued advanced medical education throughout most of the rest of her career, moving to Seattle and working for Fred Hutchison Reseach, Zymogenetics, University of Washington Medical Center, Group Health, and volunteering in an Archdiocesan ministry for AIDS patients. Cari was also a superb oboist, playing for many organizations such as Rain City Orchestra and in the music ministry at Assumption Parish in Seattle.
Cari was the white hot brilliance that is sometimes too much for those around her, and sometimes even herself. But the brilliance and beauty will be greatly missed by so many. The choir eternal can only be more perfectly in tune with her presence.
Survivors, inculde daughter Clara Sutton, mother Peggy Countryman, brother Corey Countryman (Theresa), sister Cathi Green (Robert), and ex-husband Jeff Sutton.
