Charles Norman Bergseth Jr.

Charles Norman Bergseth Jr. –We are saddened by the loss of Chuck, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was born on December 16, 1965 in Seattle, and passed away on October 4, 2010 in Tukwila.

Chuck was raised in Burien, and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1984. He also attended Highline Community College. Chuck enjoyed sports his entire life, including wrestling, baseball, and co-ed softball.

Following in his father’s footsteps, he joined the family business, Rainier Ranch, Inc. His passion in life was his three boys, and his favorite weekends would be spent cheering them on at their sporting events, along with his dog Harley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Norman Bergseth, Sr. He will be greatly missed by his three sons, Chaz, Max and Alex, and their mother Diana. His passing is also greatly mourned by his Mother, JoAnn; his sisters and their spouses Roxann (Steve Wydick), Laurie (Bruce Smith), and Karen (Ken Hanson); along with many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

A rosary will be said Friday, October 8 at 7:00PM at Yarington’s White Center Funeral Home, 10708 16th Ave. SW, Seattle. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 9 at 11:00AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15236 21st Ave. SW, Burien. A reception will follow. Remembrances in lieu of flowers can be made to the “Bergseth Boys Educational Fund” at Sterling Savings Bank.
