

Cynthia’s family fondly remembers her as a loving and dutiful daughter. From a family of six children, she was the second oldest child with one older brother, Ed, followed by her sister Myrna, sister Joy, brother Venerando, and the youngest brother, Fred.
In her younger days, Cynthia enjoyed singing and dancing. She was very sociable and friendly. She was also a hard worker and self-reliant. She learned how to sew and make her own dresses.
At a young age and throughout her life, Cynthia practiced her Catholic faith devoutly. She attended mass and prayed the rosary daily in keeping with the family tradition. Undeniably, Cynthia’s faith in God was strong and unwavering.
In pursuit of a better future, Cynthia worked a part-time job while obtaining her secondary education. She attended Southwestern University in Cebu, Philippines and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
After college, she fell in love and married the famous singer, Jaime S. Perez. They started a happy family and had two children, Oliver Clark and Richard Bell.
In 1975, Cynthia and her family immigrated to the United States to start a new life.
As a young mother, Cynthia balanced in taking care of two young boys while working for the US Postal Service to support her young family. She was very loving and doting on her two young sons and taught them kindness, love and hard work.
After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially singing the nights away. She continued to attend as well as host karaoke parties during special occasions.
Cynthia was a bright light that was taken away too soon from her loving family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of spreading love and kindness to everyone that she meets.
We will miss you and your wonderful smile.
