

David E. "The Candy Man" Fuller, 87 years old, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Wednesday in the early morning at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, WA., April 8, 2009. Born in Walla Walla, WA. on March 13, 1922. Graduated from Broadway High School in Seattle, WA. 1942. In 1944 he met Elizabeth M. O'Keefe while serving in the Navy at the Alameda, CA. Naval Air Station during World War II. A 63 year marriage ensued which began on February 10, 1946.
He was a salesman most of his life and retired in 2002 as a Candy Broker with Kahler Senders Group, Inc. His compassion for children inspired him to pass out "Jelly Belly" treats to the delight of children and adult strangers.
Survived by wife Elizabeth M. Fuller, daughter Lavonne Bear, son-in-law Anthony Bear, grandson Aaron Bear, other family members and a host of friends.
He was an avid golfer and President of the Snohomish Mens Club at Snohomish Golf Course for 1980,1982,1983 and 1984.
