

Our world lost a dynamic force for good in the passing of David George Hudson, age 71, on February 22, 2012 from ALS. Dave was born in St. Ignatious, MT, the youngest of 12 children, on April 30, 1940 to LeRoy and Clara Rollins Hudson.
He moved with his family to Everett, WA when he was four years old and graduated from Everett High School in 1958. He married Donna McDannald, on September 24, 1962. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple in 1966. Dave enrolled in the National Guard at a legally too young age; and later signed on with the U.S. Army where he became a cook, baseball champ, and transportation specialist. He has been a real estate developer for 44 years and a former President of the Board of Realtors.
Dave served as Bishop in the Everett 2nd Ward of the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints and especially loved serving the youth, which included coaching Everett youth for years.
Dave was an avid golfer, until ALS took away his game, and had been an enthusiastic rider of dirt bikes, horses, snowmobiles, Sea-doos, and slalom water skis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; three brothers; four brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; three nephews; and one niece.
His surviving siblings are LaVon Nuse, Kathleen Reid (Ron), Jeanine Smith (Ron), Joy Hutchings, Joan Hudson; and brother-in-law Gene Baxter.
He is survived by his sweetheart, Donna; children, Diane (Brad) Bigler, D. Rocky (Wendy), Davy (Jane), Derek (Heather), Damon (Elisha), and Duane (Shannon); and most especially by his precious grandchildren, Dain and Megan, Emily, Rachel, and Olivia Bigler; Parker, Chase, and Logan Hudson; Ashlee, Baily, Channing, Cooper, and Campbell Hudson; Hunter, Broderek, and AnaLynn Hudson; Madison, Brenna, Hayden, and Halle Hudson; Charlie, Oliver, and Eli Hudson.
