84, passed away November 10, 2001. Delbert was born to Vern and Grace Dixon on July 31, 1917 in Omak, Washington. Delbert served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII in and around Alaska. He retired after twenty years of service as Chief Electronic Technician, and continued to serve an additional 16 years in the civil service for the Coast Guard stationed in Seattle. Delbert was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert L. Dixon, and is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy of 59 years; daughter, Delores David Gifford; three sons, David Zelda, Dennis Rene, Donald Marian; granddaughter, Tricia Matthew McCulloch; 3 grandsons, Erin Lowery, Trevor and James Dixon; brother, Joseph Dixon, and sister, Kathryn Kibbe. Memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Friday, November 16, 2001 at Ravenna Blvd. Presbyterian Church, 564 NE Ravenna Blvd. Seattle, WA 98115. Burial was done prior in the Washelli Cemetery.
