Dolores B. Smith

March 9, 1921 - May 3, 2016

Born in Sisseton, South Dakota to Reuben and Ella Kleven, Dolores moved to Seattle with her parents and brother Robert when she was a teenager and went on to graduate from Garfield High School. She made her home in Brier and in the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.

Mom had a profound faith and was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She loved to travel, she loved baseball, she loved her garden her birds and a warm swimming pool, but was equally happy baking and doing her needlework.

Mom was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She is survived by her children; Sydney (George) Tandoo, Patricia (Dick) Williams, Randy (Cathy) Lyon & Rob (Sheree) Lyon, grandchildren Lisa (Fred) Freiss, Sheri McDonald, Shelley (Dave) Wilson, Taresa (Neal) Schubert, Rod Lyon, Eric Lyon, Robby (Kerri) Lyon, and great-grandchildren Mimi, Max & Mollie McDonald, Hannah, James & Katrina Schubert, Michelle Lyon and Oliver Lyon, sisters-in-law Cathy Kleven & Bonnie Bradford, her nieces and nephews and many fast friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Smith.

We love you Mom, Grandma, GG, Sister and Friend. We pray one day we'll be together again
