Don, I hope you know how much I love you and how much I will miss you. You are like no other and I cherish that. You kept me sane when I thought I would crack. Goldies will never be the same without you. Thank you for the friendship that I will sadly miss. 

Don was truly one of a kind, I am very privileged to have known him. 

Don was a wonderful man and inspired many. He was a wonderful uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by us as well as so many. We are deeply greatful for the time that we had with him and that he was able to see our children his great niece and nephew. We love you don and you will always be with us in our hearts.

My wife and I are deeply saddened by Don's passing and will surely miss him. Please accept our condolences.

I have so many great memories of the time your family lived next door to me.  You were part of the kids in the hood.  Your big heart, your laughter, and the love you shared will forever be remembered. I am truly grateful for all the fun we had,playing football, our camp, and just hanging out. Thanks for being you. Sure have a lot of good memories of times together Don going back all the way to shortly after your accident. Thanks for helping me with Bridge. Thans for many years of friendship.  Rosa Lee and I will miss you.

Don was my berry picking buddy when I use to stay at my grandma Rustands in the summer. He was so funny and entertaining at that young age and always started the berry fights that we loved.
I'm sad you are gone but know you are not forgotten.  I always think of those times. Carol

Don, I'll miss you dearly.  I so enjoyed hooking up with you at the games and crabbing about a stupid play or trade.  It was even more fun to gripe about trades, drafts, and lost player.  You always had a positive spin, and I'll miss that most.  When your Mom called me, it took 4 hours of replaying our conversation for me to understand.  Now, young man, practice your running skills we're going to need a running back in September--mark my words!!!!  I love you Don.

Don will always be remembered as a wonderful and very dear friend to myself and my family. It still hasn't quite sunk in that he is gone maybe thats because he will always live on in my heart and when I think of him I will smile with the fond memories I have of the times we spent together. Don will be greatly missed by many and my world will forever have a void in it.
