Donna Rae Colburn was born on September 11, 1951 to Edward and Marie Colburn in Seattle, Washington. She lost her battle to a rare form of Breast Cancer on May 12, 2013, Mother's Day and she was able to wish her mother a Happy Mother's Day in heaven.
Growing up she was the only daughter and had 3 brothers, John (Joan), Richard and Russell Colburn. Donna attended Ingram High school and graduated in 1970.
Donna worked at Lucky's Supermarket where she met her husband Edward Kacher and they had two children, a daughter Tammy McPherson (Curtis) and son Michael Kacher. Donna was a loving grandmother to Apryl, Devin and Sade and they will miss her terribly, as well as a loving Aunt, Cousin and Friend to many.
Donna worked at Safeco Insurance for many years before going back to school to become a CPA and went into business for herself. She was able to run her business from home so that she could be a loving caregiver to Michael.
Donna enjoyed researching her family heritage and was able to go to Sweden with her dear friend Jade and visit family that she had never met.
Jade was a dear friend through the end, attending all of her doctor's appointments with her and lifting her spirit.
