We will truly miss Doug.  He said that he would walk again, and he was right. He has now walked through the gates of Heaven!  All our love to the three of you.  Know that we will always be there to support you in any way.

What I most remember most
about Doug when I worked with him, that though all of his pain he never said why me.  I use to watch him come into work and marval at how he did it day after day, I feel I was priviledge to work with him and to call him my friend for twenty years.

Please know that you and your kids are in my thoughts and prayers!!  I remember all the laughter and fun, the camping and hikes... I regret not staying in touch, please forgive me. 

It was my pleasure to be able to start each working day with a few words and a smile with Doug he was much more than a resident, he was our friend and will be remembered always in our hearts, it was my pleasusre to have known him and to be part of his life to his family thank you for letting us share some fun and laughter with him. I've only known Doug for a short time, but through our 3 months together we've laughed, talked, and reminsed about the days gone by. Since I was his youngest care giver he always had smart remarks to make me feel as 1 of his own. His last words to me was that he wished I was apart of his family and that he loved me always. Well, Doug recieved his wish, I am part of his family along with the rest of the people who have entered into his life. I wish the family of Doug love and happiness, may you never forget him... Dear Sue, Megan and Ryan, Our thoughts have been with you.  Elise called me from soccer practice at Kamiak on Monday and said that Doug had died.  She was really upset. We can feel what you are going through since we have been there.  Our favorite verse from Psalms is "I will walk with the Lord in the land of the living." I know that Doug and our father and husband,Fred, are now healed and walking with the Lord. May God's loving arms be around all of you. The Dann's

Doug was the greatest friend a person could have growing up. Even as a youth Doug was caring and loyal.  We spent many a hour playing in the woods together in his backyard or watching Brakeman Bill on channel 11.  Seems the highlight of Brakeman Bill was watching an episode of The 3 Stooge's and then appreciating the humor.  I'm certain a lot of Dougs personality traits were formed by his mother, who like him was very caring and loving. I was just very privileged to be able to live next door to him during our growing up years. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ certainly has a wonderful plan for all of our lives and I feel very blessed that I was chosen to be touched by Doug's.

Dear Sue, Megan and Ryan,
We send our heartfelt condolences to you all. Doug had to deal with a whole lot, as did all of you. We are grateful to have known him. You'll be in our prayers. May both Doug and Pearl rest in heavenly peace.
