On January 4, 1945 Duane married the love of his life, Deloris M. Nelson. Together they enjoyed almost 75 years together.
Duane retired from the Army after a 20 year service and went on to work at Shearson/American Express for another 20 years. He was a Mason and had a passion for the Seattle Dahlia Society.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris; sons Emmett and Thomas; grandchildren, James, Anne, Matt, John and Troy. He was predeceased by his 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
