Born Sept 21, 1918, Edith passed away quietly on July 20, 2009 at the HCR Manor Care in Lynnwood. She was 90 years old. Born and raised in Ballard by her loving parents, Frank Warren Hogan and Emma Christine Hogan, Edith graduated from Ballard High School in 1936. She married George Frank Worthy in Seattle on Dec 13, 1941. Her husband died on Nov 1, 1998 in Seattle. Edith was a homemaker and loving mother her whole life. She is survived by her children; Marie Ruth (Terry) of Bremerton and Bill Worthy of Ballard; Brother, Kay Hogan of Alderwood Manor; Grand children, Kevin of Bremerton, Bryan (Judith) of Burbank, CA; and Alisa (Mike) of Las Vegas, NV; and great granddaughter, Kimberly of Burbank, CA.
