I always enjoyed your visits...
You were one of a kind.

I always loved talking politics with Ed. He had some interesting opinions about how he saw the world. He taught me a thing or two, but I swayed his vote. I will miss you Ed. I won't let Ray hack the Rhodie up anymore so that it will always bloom in your honor.  I will always consider you my friend and brother.

I remember when Ed and his young friend Jeanette they were about 4 or 5 years old, they painted the neighbors black lab with blue paint. Blue feet, blue tail, blue ears and a stripe down the middle. Luckily it was painted in the direction that the fur laid and this was with my special camel haired paint brush. I found it laying up agains the fence as hard as a rock. The neighbor brought his dog over and wanted to know what we were going to do about this. I applied vaseline around his fur, and softened it enough to wash it out, but the paint brush was ruined.

Ed, you were a fun friend and a great companion when we were growing up together.  You could always be depended upon to have something adventurous up your sleeve.  I will never forget you and our times together.

Ed, your warm smile always lit up a room.  I loved it when you did the "Missy Wave" - you know what I'm talking about!  It didn't matter how much time passed, we both would crack up every time you did it.

Ed, you made a wonderful neighbor. I appreciated all your help around my yard, you always did such good work. You made the neighborhood a better place to live. You will be greatly missed. In gratitude, Kristine Messick
