Eleanor had great long life and passed away just shy of her 94th birthday. Eleanor was born in Calgary, Alberta Canada and was raised in the Vancouver, British Columbia area.
She is preceded by death by her husband Frank Day and her brother David Clewlow. She is survived by daughters Sheryl (Mick) Furness, Sandra (Mark) Elie, and grandchildren Tim, Katie, Leah, Ian, and Crystal.
In her younger days she loved to snow ski, hike, and go for bike rides. Eleanor married Frank Day in 1952. They traveled the world with the United States Air Force. They settled in the Everett area to raise their family.
A private service will be held at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park in Seattle Wa. in the spring of 2016.
