Age 97, passed away on April 8, 2002. Born November 20, 1904 in Seattle. Son of Captain John and Ella Anderson. Attended Lincoln High High School in 1917. Married Lillian Phoebe Bretz in 1926 who preceded him after 69 years of sharing life?s wonders. Survived by a daughter, Barbara Lofquist and a son, Marley Anderson; five grandchildren, Mike and Sheree, living in California; Tad, Mark and Julie, living in Seattle; two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Mackenzie. Ernie was an active member for over 50 years at Bethany Lutheran Church, Green Lake, where he served as Chairman of the board during the rebuilding of the church and was head usher several times. Two successful careers, 35 years for Tradewell grocery stores and 21 years for Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 17; 12:00PM, Bethany Lutheran Church 7400 Woodlawn Ave NE. Seattle.
