Ernesta was born in Manila and died in Seattle. With a passion for family, she was a Vietnam veteran, administrator, ballet dancer, fabulous chef, opera buff, pianist and composer who lived life to the fullest. She is survived by her beloved mother Conchita, husband Ronald Higginbotham, siblings Evaristo, Raul, Renato, Felipe II, Arthur, Reuel, Betty and Benjamin, in-laws, nephews and nieces. Ernesta was preceded in death by her father Felipe L. Batayola and brother Donaldo.
