Errin Nicole Coburn

Errin Nicole Coburn passed away December 22, 2024 in Seattle, Washington.

Errin was born March 8, 1975 in Marshall. Missouri to David and Kaye Coburn. She attended elementary through high school in the Brandon Valley School District, Brandon, SD. Upon graduation from high school in 1993, she enlisted in the Navy. Errin was one, in the first detail of women, on the USS Abraham Lincoln. She was honorably discharged in 1997 and settled in Seattle, WA.

Errin was currently Director of Cyber Risk for Delta Dental of Washington. She had recently received a promotion as Vice President of Cybersecurity Risk Management and Chief Information Security Officer.

Errin was loved and respected by everyone who was a part of her life. Errin’s children, Johnny and Rosie, were the loves of her life. She was a wonderful mother. She was also a remarkable daughter, sister, auntie, and friend. She will live in our hearts forever with the warm memories we have of her.

Errin is survived by Gus, Johnny, and Rosie Papanastasiou; parents, David and Kaye Coburn; brother, Benjamin Coburn; sister, Sarah Pereyra (Tom), many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Errin was preceded in death by her grandparents Harold and Ellen Coburn, Keith and Margaret Webster, and cousin Mark Webster.

Errin’s family would like to thank family and friends for their love and support.
