

Our loved Farhad Amirfaiz was born in Tehran, Iran November 26th, 1959. Fred passed away January 27th, 2022 at 62 years old. He grew up in Tehran with his 3 siblings, playing in the mountains by their home. He told stories of his childhood where he would look after the homeless neighborhood cats and dogs. His generosity and kindness were always given to any soul he came across, even from a young age. Fred was a talented child, and excelled in school, earning all honors.
Fred came to America when he was just 17, to pursue higher education. Earning his accomplishments with ease, he studied at top schools while trying to quench his insatiable thirst for knowledge. He was proud of his educational accomplishments, boasting a M.B.A in information systems from University of Washington, a B.S.E.E. from University of Washington, a post masters in computer science from Stanford, and a M.S.E.E from University of Arizona. He always said that education was the only thing no one could ever take away from you. He continued learning his entire life, always taking classes on new aspects of programming and furthering his knowledge.
Technology was a passion of his that he had a gift for. In 1998, he published his book “Official Microsoft Site Server 2.0 Enterprise Edition Toolkit”. He worked for IBM and Microsoft on many projects related to tech development before starting his own company, Technosolve. As his own boss, he focused on developing apps for many large companies including Nordstrom and ESPN. He was a trusted colleague and advice giver.
Fred loved sailing, flying planes, cars, great food, traveling, ping pong, and poetry. He had plans to ride his Ferrari to his heart’s content, go sailing, and spend more time with the ones he loved most. Those that know him will remember him as kind and silly, loving to laugh. He was an amazing son, brother and father.
He is survived by his daughters, Alexandria and Natalia Amirfaiz. Fred’s family and friends cherish all the wonderful memories we have with him, that we will keep close to our hearts.
