In 1959 she married her love, David DeWitt. They resided in Seattle, where they raised their three children. Though mostly a homemaker in her early adult years, later she became an integral part of establishing a successful precision sheet metal fabrication business with her husband and sons.
Following the death of her husband in 1987, Jenny moved to Mukilteo, to be closer to her children and grand-children. Once retired she traveled, volunteered in her community, (church, garden club and library), and spent many hours visiting with "the ladies" of the Mukilteo YMCA.
Throughout Jenny's life her absolute trust in God and fierce devotion to her family and friends sustained her and inspired those who were blessed to know her.
She leaves behind her children David (Juli), Roxanna (Mike), Wayne (Julie), siblings Dave, Don, Betty and Delores, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.
Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at St Thomas More catholic Church in Lynnwood at 11:00. Burial will follow immediately at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery in Seattle.
Celebration of life will follow the burial at The Elks Sunset Lodge in Ballard.
