Born in Seattle Oct 17, 1913. She passed away after a brave battle with cancer on Dec. 21, 2001 in Seattle. Daughter of Thomas F. and Mae Herbert FitzGerald. Preceded in death by her husband Paul Clayton, her sister Betty Landes and her dearest brother and sculptor, James FitzGerald of Seattle. Survived by sons Richard Clayton of Mt. View, CA, Tom Clayton of Shine, WA and Steve Clayton of Seattle. She worked for Employment Security in Seattle for many years and was instrumental in working with Steve and Dick in starting the Clayton Aquarium Corporation. A beautiful aquarium has been given to the new Swedish Cancer Institute building in her memory. Viewing at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home on December 27th 2:00-7:00 PM.
