Gilbert Kent Craig passed away July 4, 2025. He was born October 24, 1938 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
He graduated from Ballard High School and obtained rank of Staff Sergeant serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Gilbert retired from the US Postal Service as a Letter Carrier. He earned a Black Belt in Tae Kwon-Do. His favorite pastime was playing volleyball. Gilbert also enjoyed Sci-fi movies and had an extensive collection of Elvis Presley memorabilia.
Gilbert is survived by his sister Georgia Craig; daughters JoAnne Wilkinson and D’Alice Craig; grandchildren Jenniffer A Boyrie, Jarrod A Wilkinson, and Jacquilynn E Eiden; great grandchildren Miea Boyrie and Sky Boyrie; and great niece Danielle Edwards.
A burial service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11 am at Evergreen Washelli Cemetery 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133 followed by a reception at the family home.
