Hagop J Tabakian

Hagop Tabakian was born on April 14,1933 to parents Hovanis & Hripsime in the town of Giannitza city in Greece in the region of central Macedonia in northern Greece.

Hagop was the youngest of 5 children in 1947 he moved to Armenia with his family then yrs later he met his wife Aida. They got married and had 2 children.

In 1975 Hagop & Aida came to America with their 2 kids and made Seattle their home. They both worked hard and went to college in the evenings to learn the english language.

Hagop was a man of strength and a lot of courage. The majority of his career was in the welding Industry back in Armenia he did a lot of different kinds of jobs to support his family. He proudly retired from United Airlines.

My dad loved to travel the world, went back to Armenia and Greece lots of times and connected with his school friends back at home. He also loves to cook, talk about politics and play backgammon.

On Saturday August 22, 2020 Hagop Tabakian passed away at the age of 87 peacefully at Highline Hospital with his family by his side.

He is survived by his wife Aida of 60 yrs.son Hampartsum and daughter Hripsime and 2 grandchildren David and Alex his nephews Hovhannes and Akribaz and his nieces Anahid and Rozik
