One year has gone pass..... I miss you Hils so much.  I love you.

My family and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your loved one, Hilda Catague.  Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, has a "yearning" to restore life to people who have died. (Job 14:14,15) That is the hope of the resurrection.   This comforting promise of God helped my family and me as we coped with the death of our loved ones.  May you all find comfort in his promise as well.

Rest in peace my dear cousin. We may not have the chance to be together since we are miles apart but I practically saw you growing up because your mom continuously send us pictures. I saw you when you were born, when you first attended your school, when you celebrated your debut, when you had Steven - all of these in pictures. During your life time, we only had one chance of meeting each other personally and this was when you visited the Philippines with your Dad. But still, we didn't had a chance to go out then because you were hospitalized since your insulin level became too low. I remember you being so warm and thankful that our family took care of you in the hospital. Yes, we only had one rare chance of meeting but the irony is, among all of my cousins there, I felt like I am closer to you than anybody else. Why? Because I grew up wearing all of your old stuff like clothes, shoes and bags since we are of the same built and height so all of your stuff fits me well. Whenever your mom sends us a box, I would look forward to your stuff because that is the only thing that fits me. It is unfortunate that I didn't had the chance to give you anything except the Manny Pacquiao jacket which I knew you liked because it is a signed one. You are in heaven now but you will be remembered forever. We love you Hilda!!!

It hurts to know that things will never be the same without you around.  You touched many lives with your charm & personality.  We had so much fun together and I will always have that.  I am grateful to have had you in my life and I will always keep you in my thoughts.  I love you very much and will miss you deeply.  I am glad we picked the tattoos that we did to share as best friends.  They have so much more meaning now. My prayers are with you always.  Rest in peace.

Hilda, thank you for being a part of our lives, especially Theresa's.  She misses you greatly.  Thank you for introducing us to drill team and hula, and for being Theresa's best friend throughout her school years.  You were always full of laughter, and always so good at reconnecting with people.  I hope you are resting easy now, and I hope you know how much you are loved, and how much you will be missed.
