He was born March 16, 1967 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, and lived at Hulett, Wyoming until moving to the Seattle area four years ago.
Jim, or "Scoob", as he was affectionately referred to by those who knew him, graduated from Hulett High School in 1985, attended the University of Wyoming, and was working as a welder at the time of his death. During his short life he made many friends and touched many lives. He will be greatly missed.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Bill & Alice (Sammy) Svoboda of Hulett, Wyoming.
He is survived by his daughter, Cara Svoboda; two brothers Ed (& Kathy) Svoboda of Valley Center, California and Ted (& Pat) Svoboda of Hulett, Wyoming; three nephews and two nieces and their families, as well as many friends.
