
Jane LUKOV Evelyn "Jane" West Lukov, 88, passed away, April 15, 2008, in Lake Forest Park, WA. She was born November 18, 1919 in Seattle, and her family moved to Camas/Washougal, WA in her early years. Jane was a graduate of Camas High School Class of 1936 and earned a B.A. from the University of Washington in 1941. She served as a telephone operator in Washougal before and after her graduation from college, and then served as a court clerk for the Clark County Courthouse, Vancouver, WA. Jane moved to Seattle in 1950 and worked for Washington Mutual Bank. In December 1951, she married Robert Lukov. Bob and Jane moved to unincorporated King County now within the city of Lake Forest Park in 1952. Jane was a homemaker. She very actively supported her husband, Bob, during his 30 years as a teacher and principal in Seattle Public School. Jane was very active as a guild member with Children's Hospital, and served as an active volunteer on a weekly basis with Children's Hospital for 45 years. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lukov, who died in 1991, along with her father, Lloyd West, her mother, Minnie West, and her daughter-in-law, Gwen Morehouse Lukov. She is survived by her two sons David Mary and Bill; four grandchildren Brett Lukov, Megan Chris Musick, Jeanne Les Benson and Todd Deena Morehouse; and two great-grandchildren, Gerry Benson and Jayson Morehouse. A memorial service for Jane will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11AM at the chapel of Evergreen-Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave. N, Seattle. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Western and Central Washington, or Children's Hospital, Seattle, or a charity of your choice.
