She was preceded in death by parents, her loving husband of 65 years, James Stafford Shelton (1931-2017), and siblings: Gordon M., John K., and Nancy L. Currie.
She is survived by daughter Ann Lorraine (Stephen) Marsh, son Michael McDowall (Marilyn) Shelton, grandchildren Lisa (Spencer) Schomaker, James (Tessa) Marsh, Julia (Greg) Majovski, Emily, Patrick and Andrew Shelton, great-grandchildren Jackson and Henry Schomaker, Cameron and Connor Majovski, and Lola Marsh.
