Jean M. Burch

Jean M. Burch was born March 12, 1932 in Menomonie, Wisconsin and passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in Port Angeles, Washington, at the age of 81. Her family moved from Wisconsin to Edmonds, Washington when she was a young girl. Jean was married to Robert Wheeler for 30 years and lived in Normandy Park where they raised their 3 children. Jean loved being a mother, adored her family and cherished all the years of fun times, get-togethers and camping trips with long time neighborhood friends. Spending time with her children, family and friends was her greatest joy. Jean enjoyed her career in medical office work for Dr. Baker in Burien. In 1984, she married Howard Burch and they happily lived out their retirement years in beautiful, sunny Sequim. Jean's hobbies were quilting, sewing, crafts, cooking, gardening, decorating, reading and puzzles.

Jean is survived by her husband, Howard; sons, Scott (Lynne) and Steve; daughter, Sheri (Joe); grandchildren, Chris and Nikki; step-daughters, Julie (Brian); Donna; Carol (Dennis); step-son, Alan (Andrea); step-grandchildren, Daniel, Joseph, Madeline, Dana, Tristan, Sarah and Adam; sisters, Val and Karen; and her brother, Lavern. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris; and brothers, Dale and Keith.
