

Jeanne was born in Seattle, Washington on October 5, 1942, to Dudley Sewell Cox and Marion Hable Cox and was the second of their three children.
Jeanne, a life-long resident of the greater Seattle area, attended Assumption Grade School, Blanchet High School and Seattle University. While at Assumption Grade School, nene developed a close relationship with Joanne Fiorito and maintained that friendship throughout her life.
At Seattle University, Jeanne pursued a degree in Education and met her husband, Fred Wolfstone. Fred and Jeanne married in 1968 and had two children together. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in February.
Professionally, Jeanne first taught students in the Lake Washington School District and later became a real estate broker working with Fred at Emerald Northwest Properties. Teaching children and working in real estate had a profound impact on Jeanne’s life. Jeanne’s love of real estate ultimately extended all the way to Hawaii, where she travelled frequently. Her happy place was her condo in Honolulu.
Jeanne enjoyed shopping, knitting, skiing and was an avid reader. Jeanne spent many years cruising on their boat, The Vixen and later the Sea Shadow in the San Juans, Gulf Islands and Desolation Sound. She was also an avid consumer of the news and current affairs and was a devoted family member to her both her immediate and extended families.
Jeanne was well loved by many. She touched the lives of all those around her deeply and will forever be remembered as an example of fierce loyalty and perceptiveness. She loved to laugh, was known for her magnetic personality and was never afraid to share her opinions. She lived a full life and will be missed greatly.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Lee Wolfstone, her parents, Dudley and Marion Cox, her brother Dudley Cox Jr. and sister Mary Ann Hermsen. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Fred Wolfstone, her daughter, Debbie Scott (Brad Scott), and her grandchildren Sommer, Kate, and Shelby. In addition her niece Terry Conway (Tom) and their girls Taylor Sorensen (Evan) and Sydney Conway (Jordan Dinsmore). Also her nephew John Hermsen (Beth).
A celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 10:00 am at:
