Jon D. Trygg

Jon age 48 unexpectedly passed away the morning of Wed. February 6, 2008. Jon was born January 16, 1960 to Marlys "keepin it classy" Trygg, lovingly labeled by her grandkids as "G-ma" and father David Trygg. He graduated from Juanita High School in 1978, and soon after met the love of his life, Traci McKennon. The two married on August 30th, 1980 and proceeded to create the three things that mattered most to Jon, his eldest son Josh 25, his favorite daughter Carin 23, and the baby of the bunch, Jared 18. Unquestionably, his favorite guys in the world were "da Tryggbros," Dan and Uno Trygg, along with sisters-in-law Emily and Michelle. Also instrumental in his life was the McKennon clan, including his mother-in-law Linda "Jon will you fix my computer please!!," and father-in-law Bill "Mack" who Jon now joins in watching over us; brothers-n-others – Scott, Todd, Paul and Debbie, Rick and wife Wendy, Steve and wife Kristi; his nieces and nephews who just keep coming - Brian, Alison, Cole, Tyler, Alex, Jake, Hailey, Nicholas, and soon to appear William.

Jon loved to golf, hug his wife, and endlessly support and encourage his children through all of their endeavors. From his role as P.S.S.S. at Green River, to his t.B.I.G.t. cohorts in Oroville, Jon always, often unknowingly, created an atmosphere of comfort, friendship and fun.

A memorial service celebrating Jon's life will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Kirkland Church of the Nazarene at 2 pm with a reception at the church to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to assist Jared Trygg's mission work.
