Julie was one of the nicest people in the world and I am so glad I had the chance to meet her and get to know her. I know she will be missed and her memory thought of often.

Julia was my grandmother and there are to many memories to mention.  Although there is one thing I will never forget and thats how beautiful, nice, forgiving, loyal, sincere, and loving she was.  She had a way to make you feel like you were the only one in the room.  She made every person feel important in there own way.  From what I can tell by her children..she was a wonderful mother and I personally know that she was a unique gramdmother.  She will be deeply missed by me and I'm sure by anyone who had the pleasure of being a part of her life.

Grandma Christensen was the sweetest lady I've ever known.  Just to show it I have an example of when she was in the hospital last.  She was more concerned with how many hours and how long the nurses had to stand on their feet than she was with herself.  She was always there to make sure everyone else was comfortable before she would think of herself.  She did not judge people and she wouldn't dare tell you of something she didn't agree with.  She was just happy that you were happy.

I am so very glad that we got to spend as much time together as we did.  We are lucky that she was able to meet and spend the first 4 months together with her 5th great grandchild, Riley.  It will be our honor to tell Riley all about her grandparents as she grows up.  Just because they're not here physically doesn't mean they're not here in spirit.

I'm happy knowing that grandma and grandpa are finally back together.  Even though she was happy here with us, a big part of her was missing with him.  She is now complete again as they have reunited.  

We will all be together again one day.  Give Grandpa and Nana and Papa a big kiss for us.  We love you with all our hearts Grandma!!

To meet someone like Julia in your life time is a blessing. She was one of the kindest and most loving people I have ever met. She always had a smile on her face and was excited to see you. 

I am proud to be the mother of two of her Great Grandsons and will teach both of them about her and Grandpa. And about how their family meant the world to them.

Mom,its hard to talk to this keyboard I would rather see you,look at you and just be with you.I know you were taken from us by the big creator so swift and quick we can hardly take a breath.Growing up our house is where all the kids played. Dad joking,you always cooking,when dinner time came it didn't matter who was there another plate or two never bothered you or Dad every one was welcome,young,old,cat,dog stray it mattered not always open arms open door.Both of you Loved kids any kids you made them fill special. You in fact were the special ones lasting 54 years now there is Love.A roll model we should all take note of.Dad I tryed my best to take care of Mom after you left us .She was a delicate sparrow who wanted to fly on her own thankfully she has flown back to her only love you Dad.I thank you both for teaching us all the love,compassion,carring and understanding you showed one another during your life.Mom missed you so much I know she is in safe arms again now. From the very first time I met Julie she treated me with more love  kindness then anyone I know. Both Julie and Lornt Christensen we're the best of the best. Mom,
Where do we start to say "Thank You" for wonderful memories, guidance, wisdom and a Mother's hug and kiss that will last in our hearts for a  lifetime. We were truely blessed to have you and Dad as our parents. The love and devotion you both gave and showed us made all of us stronger and better individuals. Though our lives have had twists and turns you both were our guiding light that gave us direction. Your words were comforting but your example spoke for more than words could ever mean.

  Mom, you gave us a gift in guiding us to church and getting to know our lord and savior. For that we will always be greatful. Though you haven't seen me in church for sometime I've come to pray quietly while I'm driving, on a jobsite, walking down the road, in bed or in the shower.  It maybe for someone else or just to give me guideance to  deal with a situation. Everytime I say the "Lords Prayer" a little light inside of me starts to glow and the more I say it the brighter the light gets. It brings a guiding comfort that words cannot explain but it's there. Through this gift I know in my heart you and Dad have been rejoined, for yours was a marriage of love made in heaven. 

This is my happiness and peace you always wanted us to have and that we will always hold in our heart. Thank you Mom. May God Bless you both.

For over 39 years you have been such a special part of my life.  You and Loren always made me feel like your "daughter".  I have always expressed to people over the years, how very lucky I am to have in-laws like you....if it was possible to "pre-select" from an "in-law" book ahead of time, I never could have done better.

Growing up with you and your family has shown me to be more tolorant and loving of others.  They say, children/people learn by example....This I know is so true, as I am lucky enough to experience it daily thru your son, Larry.  Your genuine love, careing, giveness and kindness to all will be carried on by your children, grandchildren and all you have touched while here on earth.

We have had many laughs, along with a few cries over the years like Mother's and Daughters do...  I WILL MISS THESE SPECIAL TIMES WITH YOU!!!

Give Dad a hug from me....and keep those communication lines open as we all will be keeping in touch, OFTEN.

I have only met Julia a few times, but, was so impressed with her friendliness and happy, pleasant personality.  I know her son, Don, who is my sister Pam's husband. Over the years, getting to know Don and his family, loving Don more and more- I know more and more what a loving and good person he is and that was learned from growing up in a kind and loving family.  What a tribute to his Mom and Dad!
Thank you, Julia- I wish I had known you longer.  I guess I still will through your son, Don.

There is a void in this world now because Julie has left us to be in a wonderful place, reunited with her loving husband and feeling better than ever.  Why does this make us so sad . . . the void will never be filled and we are only human so it hurts our hearts when you lose someone so special but we can take comfort in knowing that she is safe and very loved.

Julie was just like a second mom to me.  Her daughter, Diane, is my very best friend and through our growing up years there were many days that were spent at the Christensen household.  I always felt so comfortable, always welcome and safe.  Julie never said an unkind word, always so interested in my life, my ups and downs, the good things and the sad things that came along.  Nobody will ever fill that void that you left behind here on earth, but I take comfort in knowing that you are safe and being well taken care of. Until we meet again . . .

touched many lives in a very positive way, during her lifetime, including those in our family.
Always a giver,in a world of takers, Julie spread kindness and love to all whom she came in contact with, always displaying a positive attitude, even in the most dire of circumstances.She has truley left the world a better place from whence she found it.

With sorrow, noted the passing of Julia. Remembered her from many years ago being a kind and gracious friend of the family. As late as of 9/02 she had called to give regards to my late mother, Alice. Lornt worked with my Father Donald W. for many years and I can recall about some 50 years ago of taking a utillity trailer to their home and having it painted to match our then 1951 Chevrolet. That trailer and it's green paint still exists in my yard today!
     Bless you Julia and Lornt for your friendship these many years.

Â 	Julie called just a couple weeks ago to talk to my mom, Mildred Ellingsen, and Julie and I had a nice conversation, too. I fondly remember impromptu visits to our house by Lornt and Julie. Mom and Lornt were 2nd cousins. Julie was such a nice person and she and Lornt were a wonderful couple. Although I won't be able to attend Julie's service, I'll be there in spirit. Mom would have liked to attend as well but her health prevents it. We both send our condolences to the family.

Julie, I only knew you and Loren for about 9 years but loved you deeply.  For the times we were able to spend together a couple of times a year, it was truly enjoyed and shared with many long and special talks.  I know that you and Loren are together again, and that is the only thing that makes this passing any easier.  The love you shared is stronger than most will ever know.  I am so sorry that I was unable to attend your service, but I want to tell you how much I loved you and how much you will be missed.  There will always be a special place in my heart for you, and when I am in Bothell, I know I will still feel the peace of your presence, it exists in my heart.
