
Age 58. Born in Bronx, NY on October 10, 1946 and passed away in Seattle, WA on January 17, 2005. Kathleen is survived by her husband Joseph Thomas Williamson of Shoreline, children Joseph Patrick, Brendan John and Mary Ellen Williamson, also of Shoreline, her father John T. Murphy of New York, brother John T. Jr. Christina Murphy and their son C. Michael and daughter Meghan of New York, brother Peter G. Denise Murphy and their sons Joshua and Lucas of New York, sister Marian P. Nicholas LeGrand and children Justin, Jonathan and Christine of South Carolina, brother James B. Maureen Murphy of New York, mother-in-law Helen nee Pelak Williamson, and brother-in-law Ronald J. Patricia Williamson.
Kathleen graduated from Ladycliff College in Highland Falls, New York in 1968. She taught elementary school for a number of years, and most recently worked with the Head Start program, Readiness to Learn Project and Adult Basic Education through the Edmonds Community College, and the Snohomish County Family Center. She was an active parishioner of Christ the King Church, Seattle and a former member of St. Luke's Parish, Shoreline. She was a member of Interfaith Network of Concern INOC www.scn.org/ccpi/ and Sound Nonviolent Opponents of War SNOW http://www.snowcoalition.org/site/action/emergency_response, served as the PCO of the 32nd District Democratic Party, and received the Seattle United Nations Association's Human Rights Award in 2002.
A funeral mass and memorial service will take place at 11AM, Saturday January 22, 2005 at Christ the King Church: 415 N. 117th St., Seattle.
