A loud bell rang on Tuesday, November 30, 2004, when God took one of his most precious angels to be with him. Kelsey Lynn Judd was born February 24, 1996 in Edmonds, Washington and passed away in Seattle, Washington, at the young age of 8, after a brave, courageous and graceful fight with leukemia. She was surrounded by family and friends. Kelsey showed us all how to be brave and never give up hope, and she touched many people in her short time with us. She was a teacher to many, an angel to all. She is now flying with the butterflies and running with cheetahs that she so loved.
Kelsey will be dearly missed by her parents, Jim and Lisa, and her twin brothers John and William, grandparents Bill Holzman and Maggie Judd, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kelsey is joining her two grandparents that passed before her, Virginia Holzman and John Judd, as well as her pet guinea pigs Snowflake and Piggie, and Noodles the cat.
A celebration of Kelsey?s life will be held on Saturday, December 4, at 1:00 pm, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 6511 176th St SW in Lynnwood, Washington. A reception will follow. Anyone who was touched by Kelsey is invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children?s Hospital Child Life Department at 4800 Sandpoint Way NE, MS CS-212. Seattle, Washington, 98105.
The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful people at Children?s Hospital for their support over the past 18 months, as well as the extended friends and family who have been with them.
