

At age 95 passed peacefully, December 22, 2016. She was a loving mother to Jack (Joanne), Frank, Thomas and Nancy (William) Rogers. Grandmother to Ben, Brenda, John, Joy, James, Zachary and Ian. Great-grandmother to Bella, Lilly, Emi and Jack. Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews (Japan and U.S.).
Now reunited with her husband, John and her parents Tokogiro and Moto. Siblings: Kore, Shikibu, Ineko, Kua, Kura and Yeshio.
Kiri arrived in the United States in 1948 to begin a new life.
She worked at Howe Co. and retired from Sunny Jim.
She was courageous and endearing in life . . . she will be remembered for her wit, humor, laughter and winning smile.
She journeyed around the world and across the U.S. She loved to go by bus all over the Puget Sound Region, wherever her bus pass would take her. Up until 2 years ago she walked up to 2 miles daily.
