Lilli was born in Seattle, WA
During the war she moved to Spokane, WA with the rest of her family. She married Fred Nakano and after the war moved back to Seattle.
In Seattle she worked at the Olympic Hotel where she made life time friends. She later decided to move to Los Angeles and worked for the US Postal Service and was Miss. Zip code.
She retired in Seattle after being injured at the Post Office, where she worked, in an elevator accident.
In Seattle she joined a Shamisen group and played at many events. She also was known for her beautiful singing and fun performances at other various events.
She married Roy Kanegae and had many happy years with him.
She loved to go fishing, bowling and cooking large holiday dinners and in her later years ventured to the casinos.
She will be greatly missed by family and all who knew her.
